Kambiz Mostofi(D), an education activist and entrepreneur that graduated with Honors with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from California State University of Dominguez Hills, is running for LA City Council District 15.

Kambiz believes in:
1. Creating Jobs by attracting corporations to the Port of Los Angeles by creating a Los Angeles Free Trade Zone that would provide export only companies(manufacturers) with reduced custom tarrifs or zero customs tarrifs. This would generate tens of thousands of jobs.


2. Protecting Education by working with community leaders to solve the high rate of high school dropouts in San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, and Watts. Solving the education problems resulting in academic budget cuts,
stopping the teacher layoffs, and protecting the people who are responsible for educating our future.


3. Revitalizing Downtown San Pedro,Wilmington, Harbor, Watts areas through incentives for companies to re-invest their
profits there. Support the Zero Emissions Policy(Zero Pollution) for cargo transportation to and from the Port of Los Angeles.


4. Balancing the Los Angeles City Budget by reducing public waste, increase revenue through job creation, and find solutions for decreasing the city's dependence on loans.


5. Supporting AB540, the Dream Act, & the rights of all immigrants to live in America.
